Justin Crum had no idea what he wanted to do with his life until a friend forced him to create a short film in high school. He then joined the school's video production class and worked his way through community college before saving enough to move out to California in 2003 to attend film school. He met his wife, Jessica, when he was 25, suggesting an art show at a cemetery for their first date. When they moved to Conway in 2013, he came a TV producer in Conway, producing documentaries, including one that was shown nationally. Now, he's been working on his independent film, Papaw Land, which is loosely based on the summers he spent with his grandfather. He and Jessica want to show that creative careers are possible.
