Katy Raines has always mixed the creative with the practical. Wanting to be an artist, she decided to become a graphic designer and do her fine art on the side. She received a job offer the month before she graduated, and she started hand lettering in January 2018. Now, she facilitates Art on the Rocks, a free monthly event that brings people together to create in a low pressure environment that promotes community.
